Required Travel Documents

You will need a passport to travel to the Bahamas. You are responsible for obtaining your passport and any other required documents. Contact the appropriate foreign consulate to determine which travel identification documents you will need. Please keep in mind:

• The name on your identification must exactly match the name on your airline ticket, including any middle name or middle initial.
• Your passport must be valid at least six months past the last day of your trip.
• You should apply for your passport as soon as possible as processing may be delayed.
• It is a good idea to take pictures of your passport with your phone or make color copies to keep at home and in your luggage in case your passport is lost or stolen while traveling.
